﴿وَقَالَت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَجۡهَ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱكۡفُرُوٓاْ ءَاخِرَهُۥ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 72]
﴿وقالت طائفة من أهل الكتاب آمنوا بالذي أنـزل على الذين آمنوا وجه﴾ [آل عِمران: 72]
| Abdel Haleem Some of the People of the Book say, ‘At the beginning of the day, believe in what has been revealed to these believers [the Muslims], then at the end of the day reject it, so that they too may turn back |
| Abdul Hye A party of people of the Scripture says: “Believe in what is sent down on those who believe (Muslims) in early part of the day, and reject it at the end of the day, so that they (Muslims) may turn back (abandon truth) |
