﴿وَقَالَت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ءَامِنُواْ بِٱلَّذِيٓ أُنزِلَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَجۡهَ ٱلنَّهَارِ وَٱكۡفُرُوٓاْ ءَاخِرَهُۥ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 72]
﴿وقالت طائفة من أهل الكتاب آمنوا بالذي أنـزل على الذين آمنوا وجه﴾ [آل عِمران: 72]
| Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al A group of the people of the Book say, “Believe in the morning what is revealed to the believers, but reject it at the end of the day, so perhaps they may turn back |
| Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And a group of the people of the book said: believe in what was sent down to the believers during the daytime, and disbelieve it at the end of it, so they may return |
| Ali Quli Qarai A group of the People of the Book say, ‘Believe in what has been sent down to the faithful at the beginning of the day, and disbelieve at its end, so that they may turn back [from their religion].’ |
| Ali Unal (In attempting a trick on the believers,) a party of the People of the Book say (to each other): "Feign belief at the beginning of the day in what has been sent down upon those who believe, and disbelieve at the end of it, that they may thus (doubt their religion and) turn back (to their former condition) |
| Hamid S Aziz A sect of the people of the Book say, "Believe in what was revealed to those who believed at the first appearance of the day, and disbelieve it at the end thereof" - that (others) may perchance go back (from their faith) |
