﴿يُدَبِّرُ ٱلۡأَمۡرَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ إِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ ثُمَّ يَعۡرُجُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥٓ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ مِّمَّا تَعُدُّونَ ﴾ 
[السَّجدة: 5]
﴿يدبر الأمر من السماء إلى الأرض ثم يعرج إليه في يوم كان﴾ [السَّجدة: 5]
| Abdel Haleem He runs everything, from the heavens to the earth, and everything will ascend to Him in the end, on a Day that will measure a thousand years in your reckoning | 
| Abdul Hye He manages every affair from the heavens to the earth; then each affair goes up to Him in one day, the period of which is 1,000 years of what you count (as worldly time) | 
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali He rules (all) affairs from the heavens to the earth: in the end will (all affairs) go up to Him, on a Day, the space whereof will be (as) a thousand years of your reckoning |
