﴿إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡۖ خَصۡمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعۡضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖ فَٱحۡكُم بَيۡنَنَا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَا تُشۡطِطۡ وَٱهۡدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ ﴾
[صٓ: 22]
﴿إذ دخلوا على داود ففزع منهم قالوا لا تخف خصمان بغى بعضنا﴾ [صٓ: 22]
| Abdel Haleem When they reached David, he took fright, but they said, ‘Do not be afraid. We are two litigants, one of whom has wronged the other: judge between us fairly- do not be unjust- and guide us to the right path |
| Abdul Hye When they entered in upon David, he was terrified of them. They said: “Don’t fear! We are 2 litigants; one of us has wronged on the other, therefore judge between us with truth, and not be unjust, and guide us to the Right Way |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali When they entered the presence of David, and he was terrified of them, they said: "Fear not: we are two disputants, one of whom has wronged the other: Decide now between us with truth, and treat us not with injustice, but guide us to the even Path |
