﴿وَلَا تُجَٰدِلۡ عَنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخۡتَانُونَ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ خَوَّانًا أَثِيمٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 107]
﴿ولا تجادل عن الذين يختانون أنفسهم إن الله لا يحب من كان﴾ [النِّسَاء: 107]
| Abdel Haleem Do not argue for those who betray their own souls: God does not love anyone given to treachery and sin |
| Abdul Hye And don’t argue for those who deceive themselves. Indeed, Allah does not like anyone who is treacherous and sinful |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Contend not on behalf of such as betray their own souls; for Allah loveth not one given to perfidy and crime |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And contend thou not for those who defraud their souls verily Allah loveth not one who is a defrauder, sinner |
| Ahmed Ali Do not argue for those who harbour deceit in their hearts, for God does not love the treacherous and the iniquitous |
