﴿فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡهُمۡ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَرِحُواْ بِمَا عِندَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُواْ بِهِۦ يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 83]
﴿فلما جاءتهم رسلهم بالبينات فرحوا بما عندهم من العلم وحاق بهم ما﴾ [غَافِر: 83]
| Abdel Haleem When messengers came to them with clear signs, they revelled in the knowledge they had, and so they were engulfed by the very punishment they mocked |
| Abdul Hye When their Messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were glad with the (worldly) knowledge which they had; (the punishment) surrounded them at which they mocked |
