﴿وَلَقَدۡ ءَاتَيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحُكۡمَ وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَ وَرَزَقۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِ وَفَضَّلۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ ﴾
[الجاثِية: 16]
﴿ولقد آتينا بني إسرائيل الكتاب والحكم والنبوة ورزقناهم من الطيبات وفضلناهم على﴾ [الجاثِية: 16]
| Abdel Haleem We gave scripture, wisdom, and prophethood to the Children of Israel; We provided them with good things and favoured them above others |
| Abdul Hye And indeed We gave the Scripture to the children of Israel, the understanding of the Scripture, and the Prophethood, and provided them with good things of life, and preferred them above all the worlds (during that time) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali We did aforetime grant to the Children of Israel the Book the Power of Command, and Prophethood; We gave them, for Sustenance, things good and pure; and We favoured them above the nations |
