﴿مَا قُلۡتُ لَهُمۡ إِلَّا مَآ أَمَرۡتَنِي بِهِۦٓ أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبَّكُمۡۚ وَكُنتُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيدٗا مَّا دُمۡتُ فِيهِمۡۖ فَلَمَّا تَوَفَّيۡتَنِي كُنتَ أَنتَ ٱلرَّقِيبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ وَأَنتَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ ﴾
[المَائدة: 117]
﴿ما قلت لهم إلا ما أمرتني به أن اعبدوا الله ربي وربكم﴾ [المَائدة: 117]
| Abdel Haleem I told them only what You commanded me to: “Worship God, my Lord and your Lord.” I was a witness over them during my time among them. Ever since You took my soul, You alone have been the watcher over them: You are witness to all things |
| Abdul Hye I did not say to them except what You commanded me of it that (say): ‘You worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. I was over them a witness till I remained among them, but when You recalled me, You were the watcher over them, and You are a witness over everything |
