﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لِيَفۡتَدُواْ بِهِۦ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 36]
﴿إن الذين كفروا لو أن لهم ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه﴾ [المَائدة: 36]
| Abdel Haleem If the disbelievers possessed all that is in the earth and twice as much again and offered it to ransom themselves from torment on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them- they will have a painful torment |
| Abdul Hye Surely, those who disbelieve, if they have all that is in the earth, and as much as like therewith to ransom themselves from punishment on the Day of Resurrection, it will not be accepted from them, and for them is a painful punishment |
