﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لَوۡ أَنَّ لَهُم مَّا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ جَمِيعٗا وَمِثۡلَهُۥ مَعَهُۥ لِيَفۡتَدُواْ بِهِۦ مِنۡ عَذَابِ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَا تُقُبِّلَ مِنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ ﴾
[المَائدة: 36]
﴿إن الذين كفروا لو أن لهم ما في الأرض جميعا ومثله معه﴾ [المَائدة: 36]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al As for those who do not believe, if they had everything on earth, and twice repeated to ransom themselves with it from the penalty on the Day of Accountability, it would never be accepted of them, for them is a terrible penalty |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad If those who disbelieved had all that is on the earth and the like of it with it, in order to ransom with it from the punishment of the resurrection day, it will not be accepted from them and a painful punishment is for them |
Ali Quli Qarai Indeed if the faithless possessed all that is on the earth, and as much of it besides, to redeem themselves with it from the punishment of the Day of Resurrection, it shall not be accepted from them, and there is a painful punishment for them |
Ali Unal As to those who insist on unbelief: even if they owned the whole of what is on the earth, and the like with it, to offer as ransom from the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. For them is a painful punishment |
