﴿وَلَوۡ أَنَّ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَكَفَّرۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَلَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴾
[المَائدة: 65]
﴿ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا واتقوا لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم﴾ [المَائدة: 65]
Abdel Haleem If only the People of the Book would believe and be mindful of God, We would take away their sins and bring them into the Gardens of Delight |
Abdul Hye And if the people of the Scripture had believed and become pious, We would surely have wiped out from them their sins and would have surely admitted them to gardens of bliss (Paradise) |
Abdullah Yusuf Ali If only the People of the Book had believed and been righteous, We should indeed have blotted out their iniquities and admitted them to gardens of bliss |
