﴿وَلَوۡ أَنَّ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ءَامَنُواْ وَٱتَّقَوۡاْ لَكَفَّرۡنَا عَنۡهُمۡ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمۡ وَلَأَدۡخَلۡنَٰهُمۡ جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ ﴾
[المَائدة: 65]
﴿ولو أن أهل الكتاب آمنوا واتقوا لكفرنا عنهم سيئاتهم ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم﴾ [المَائدة: 65]
Al Bilal Muhammad Et Al If only the people of the Book had believed and been righteous, We would indeed have forgiven their immorality and admitted them to gardens of bliss |
Ali Bakhtiari Nejad And if people of the book believed and were cautious (of God), We would have removed their sins from them and admitted them into gardens of delight |
Ali Quli Qarai Had the People of the Book believed and been Godwary, We would surely have absolved them of their misdeeds and admitted them into gardens of bliss |
Ali Unal If only the People of the Book would believe (in the Prophet Muhammad and what is revealed to him), and keep from disobedience to God in piety so as to deserve His protection, We would certainly blot out from them their (previous) evil deeds and admit them for sure into Gardens of bounty and blessings |
