﴿وَلَقَدۡ رَٰوَدُوهُ عَن ضَيۡفِهِۦ فَطَمَسۡنَآ أَعۡيُنَهُمۡ فَذُوقُواْ عَذَابِي وَنُذُرِ ﴾
[القَمَر: 37]
﴿ولقد راودوه عن ضيفه فطمسنا أعينهم فذوقوا عذابي ونذر﴾ [القَمَر: 37]
| Abdel Haleem they even demanded his guests from him- so We sealed their eyes- ‘ Taste My [terrible] punishment and [the fulfilment of] My warnings!’ |
| Abdul Hye And indeed they even sought to lure him about his guest (by asking to commit sodomy with them). So We blinded their eyes and said: “Now you taste My punishment and My warnings.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali And they even sought to snatch away his guests from him, but We blinded their eyes. (They heard:) "Now taste ye My Wrath and My Warning |
