﴿لَأَنتُمۡ أَشَدُّ رَهۡبَةٗ فِي صُدُورِهِم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ قَوۡمٞ لَّا يَفۡقَهُونَ ﴾
[الحَشر: 13]
﴿لأنتم أشد رهبة في صدورهم من الله ذلك بأنهم قوم لا يفقهون﴾ [الحَشر: 13]
| Abdel Haleem Fear of you [believers] is more intense in their hearts than fear of God because they are people devoid of understanding |
| Abdul Hye Surely, you (believers) are more fearful in their (Jews of An-Nadir) hearts than of Allah. That is because they are a people who don’t comprehend (power of Allah) |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts, (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi Surely ye are more awful in their breasts than Allah. That is because they are a people who understand not |
| Ahmed Ali Surely they have greater fear of you in their hearts than of God, because they do not understand |
| Aisha Bewley You are a greater cause of terror in their breasts than Allah! That is because they are people who do not understand |
