﴿وَلَوۡلَآ أَن كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلۡجَلَآءَ لَعَذَّبَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَاۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابُ ٱلنَّارِ ﴾
[الحَشر: 3]
﴿ولولا أن كتب الله عليهم الجلاء لعذبهم في الدنيا ولهم في الآخرة﴾ [الحَشر: 3]
| Abdel Haleem If God had not decreed exile for them, He would have tormented them [even more severely] in this world. In the Hereafter they will have the torment of the Fire |
| Abdul Hye And had it not been that Allah had decreed exile for them, He would certainly have punished them in this world, and in the Hereafter they shall have the punishment of the fire |
