﴿وَقَالُواْ لَوۡلَا نُزِّلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۚ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَادِرٌ عَلَىٰٓ أَن يُنَزِّلَ ءَايَةٗ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ ﴾
[الأنعَام: 37]
﴿وقالوا لولا نـزل عليه آية من ربه قل إن الله قادر على﴾ [الأنعَام: 37]
| Abdel Haleem They also say, ‘Why has no sign been sent down to him from his Lord?’ Say, ‘God certainly has the power to send down a sign,’ though most of them do not know |
| Abdul Hye And they say: “Why not a sign has been sent down to him from his Lord?” Say: “Indeed Allah has power to send down a sign, but most of them don’t know (the wisdom behind it).” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali They say: "Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord?" Say: "Allah hath certainly power to send down a sign: but most of them understand not |
