﴿وَقَالَتۡ أُولَىٰهُمۡ لِأُخۡرَىٰهُمۡ فَمَا كَانَ لَكُمۡ عَلَيۡنَا مِن فَضۡلٖ فَذُوقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابَ بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡسِبُونَ ﴾
[الأعرَاف: 39]
﴿وقالت أولاهم لأخراهم فما كان لكم علينا من فضل فذوقوا العذاب بما﴾ [الأعرَاف: 39]
| Abdel Haleem and the first of them will say to the last, ‘You were no better than us: taste the punishment you have earned.’ |
| Abdul Hye The first of them will say to the last of them: “You were not any better than us, so taste the punishment for what you used to earn.” |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Then the first will say to the last: "See then! No advantage have ye over us; so taste ye of the penalty for all that ye did |
| Abdul Majid Daryabadi And the first of them will say unto the last of them: ye have then no preference over us; taste then the torment for that which ye were wont to earn |
