﴿وَإِذَا مَآ أُنزِلَتۡ سُورَةٞ فَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَقُولُ أَيُّكُمۡ زَادَتۡهُ هَٰذِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنٗاۚ فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ فَزَادَتۡهُمۡ إِيمَٰنٗا وَهُمۡ يَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ ﴾
[التوبَة: 124]
﴿وإذا ما أنـزلت سورة فمنهم من يقول أيكم زادته هذه إيمانا فأما﴾ [التوبَة: 124]
| Abdel Haleem When a sura is revealed, some [hypocrites] say, ‘Have any of you been strengthened in faith by it?’ It certainly does strengthen the faith of those who believe and they rejoice |
| Abdul Hye Whenever there is a Surah (chapter of the Qur’an) sent down, some of them (hypocrites) say: “Which of you has increased faith by this?” As for those who believe, it has increased them in faith, and they rejoice |
| Abdullah Yusuf Ali Whenever there cometh down a sura, some of them say: "Which of you has had His faith increased by it?" Yea, those who believe,- their faith is increased and they do rejoice |
