﴿۞ وَٱتۡلُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ نَبَأَ نُوحٍ إِذۡ قَالَ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِن كَانَ كَبُرَ عَلَيۡكُم مَّقَامِي وَتَذۡكِيرِي بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ تَوَكَّلۡتُ فَأَجۡمِعُوٓاْ أَمۡرَكُمۡ وَشُرَكَآءَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُنۡ أَمۡرُكُمۡ عَلَيۡكُمۡ غُمَّةٗ ثُمَّ ٱقۡضُوٓاْ إِلَيَّ وَلَا تُنظِرُونِ ﴾
[يُونس: 71]
﴿واتل عليهم نبأ نوح إذ قال لقومه ياقوم إن كان كبر عليكم﴾ [يُونس: 71]
| Dr Kamal Omar And reproduce before them the news of Nuh when he said to his nation: “O my nation! If it came very hard on you: my presence and my missionary pursuit with the help of Ayaatillahe, then in Allah I have put my trust. So bring together your stratagem and your accomplices; then your conspiracy should not remain unto you ill-defined, then pronounce your sentence against me and do not give me respite |

If my station had been troublesome to you and my reminding you of the signs of God, then, in God I put my trust. So summon up your affair along with your ascribed associates. Again, there be no cause for doubt in your affair. Again, decide against me and give me no respite |

Do not allow me a respite |

| Maududi And narrate to them the story of Noah when he said to his people: `My people! If my living in your midst and my effort to shake you out of heedlessness by reciting to you the revelations of Allah offend you, then remember that I have put all my trust in Allah. So draw up your plan in concert with those whom you associate with Allah in His divinity, leaving no part of it obscure, and then put it into effect against me, and give me no respite |
