﴿۞ وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغۡيٗا وَعَدۡوًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدۡرَكَهُ ٱلۡغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِيٓ ءَامَنَتۡ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓاْ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ ﴾
[يُونس: 90]

We led Bani Isra‘il (the Children of Israel) across the sea whereupon Pharaoh and his troops pursued them with the intention of persecuting them and unjustly and wrongfully torturing them. Such intention had prevailed until the moment when the sea- water overwhelmed them in abundance and Pharaoh realized that he was drowning. There and then he uttered his pining regrets and vain repentances and said: " Now do I realize that there is no Ilah but Him Who has been recognized by Bani Isra‘il and I submit to join those who have conformed to Islam

ترجمة: وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه, باللغة الإنجليزية تفسير

﴿وجاوزنا ببني إسرائيل البحر فأتبعهم فرعون وجنوده بغيا وعدوا حتى إذا أدركه﴾ [يُونس: 90]

And We separated the sea with Bani Israiel, and Firaun and his forces chased them in rebellion and enmity (against Allah and Islam) until when drowning overtook him, he said: “I have Believed that it (is a fact that there is) no god except That in Whom the Bani Israiel have developed Faith and I am out of the Muslims.”
