﴿قُل لِّعِبَادِيَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُقِيمُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَيُنفِقُواْ مِمَّا رَزَقۡنَٰهُمۡ سِرّٗا وَعَلَانِيَةٗ مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ يَوۡمٞ لَّا بَيۡعٞ فِيهِ وَلَا خِلَٰلٌ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 31]
﴿قل لعبادي الذين آمنوا يقيموا الصلاة وينفقوا مما رزقناهم سرا وعلانية من﴾ [إبراهِيم: 31]
Dr Kamal Omar Say to Ibâdi (My subjects) who have Believed that they should establish Salât and spend out of the provisions We have given them, secretly and openly, before (the stage) that the Day comes where (there will be) no business activity and nor befriending |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Say to My servants who believed that they should perform the formal prayer and spend from what We provided them secretly and in public before a Day approaches in which there is neither trading nor befriending |
Dr Munir Munshey Convey My instructions to those of My servants who believe, that they should establish ´salat´ and give charity __ openly and in secret __ out of what We have granted them, before the day arrives when neither trade nor friendship will avail |
Edward Henry Palmer Say to my servants who believe, that they be steadfast in prayer and expend in alms of what we have bestowed upon them in secret and in public, before there comes the day when there shall be no buying and no friendship |
Farook Malik Allah will requite each soul according to its deeds; surely Allah is swift in taking the account |
George Sale Speak unto my servants who have believed, that they be assiduous at prayer, and give alms out of that which We have bestowed on them, both privately and in public; before the day cometh, wherein there shall be no buying nor selling, neither any friendship |
Maududi (O Prophet), tell those of My servants who believe that they should establish Prayer and spend out of what We have provided them with, both secretly and openly, before there arrives the Day when there will be no bargaining, nor any mutual befriending |
