﴿ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَأَنزَلَ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءٗ فَأَخۡرَجَ بِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ رِزۡقٗا لَّكُمۡۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡفُلۡكَ لِتَجۡرِيَ فِي ٱلۡبَحۡرِ بِأَمۡرِهِۦۖ وَسَخَّرَ لَكُمُ ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرَ ﴾
[إبراهِيم: 32]
﴿الله الذي خلق السموات والأرض وأنـزل من السماء ماء فأخرج به من﴾ [إبراهِيم: 32]
| Dr Kamal Omar Allah is That Who created the heavens and the earth and brought down rain from towards the sky and thereby brought forth fruits as provisions for you, and He has controlled for you the ship so that it may sail in the sea under His Command and He has controlled for you the rivers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar God is He Who created the heavens and the earth and caused water to descend from heaven and brought out thereby fruits as provision for you. And He caused boats to be subservient to you that they run through the sea by His command. And He caused rivers to be subservient to you |
| Dr Munir Munshey Allah is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He sends rain from the sky. With that water, He brings out the produce for you to eat. He ordered the ships to submit to you! With His commands, they sail across the seas! He also tamed the rivers for you |

| George Sale It is God who hath created the heavens and the earth; and causeth water to descend from heaven, and by means thereof produceth fruits for your sustenance: And by his command He obligeth the ships to sail in the sea for your service; and He also forceth the rivers to supply your uses |
| Maududi It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth, Who sent down water from the heaven and thereby brought forth a variety of fruits as your sustenance, Who subjected for you the ships that they may sail in the sea by His command, Who subjected for you the rivers |
