﴿وَءَاتِ ذَا ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ حَقَّهُۥ وَٱلۡمِسۡكِينَ وَٱبۡنَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَلَا تُبَذِّرۡ تَبۡذِيرًا ﴾
[الإسرَاء: 26]
﴿وآت ذا القربى حقه والمسكين وابن السبيل ولا تبذر تبذيرا﴾ [الإسرَاء: 26]
| Dr Kamal Omar And give to the close-relation what is his right, and to that who is indigent and the victim of travel and squander not (your wealth) extravagantly |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And give to the possessor of kinship his right and to the needy and to the traveler of the way. And spend not extravagantly an extravagant spending |
| Dr Munir Munshey And honor the rights of the kinsfolk, the poor and needy, and the homeless; and do not be overly wasteful |
| Edward Henry Palmer And give thy kinsman his due and the poor and the son of the road; and waste not wastefully |
| Farook Malik You shall give to your relatives their due and to the needy and to the wayfarers. You shall not be a spendthrift |
| George Sale And give unto him who is of kin to you his due, and also unto the poor, and the traveller. And waste not thy substance profusely |
| Maududi (iii) Give to the near of kin his due, and also to the needy and the wayfarer. (iv) Do not squander your wealth wastefully |
