﴿فَعَسَىٰ رَبِّيٓ أَن يُؤۡتِيَنِ خَيۡرٗا مِّن جَنَّتِكَ وَيُرۡسِلَ عَلَيۡهَا حُسۡبَانٗا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ فَتُصۡبِحَ صَعِيدٗا زَلَقًا ﴾
[الكَهف: 40]
﴿فعسى ربي أن يؤتين خيرا من جنتك ويرسل عليها حسبانا من السماء﴾ [الكَهف: 40]
Dr Kamal Omar so perhaps my Nourisher-Sustainer, that He may provide me better than your orchard and may direct over it Husban (a thunderbolt) from towards the sky so it becomes a bare slippery ground |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, perhaps my Lord will give me better than thy garden and will send on it a thunderclap from heaven. And it will come to be in the morning a place of slippery earth |
