﴿يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدۡ جَآءَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ يَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِيٓ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَٰطٗا سَوِيّٗا ﴾
[مَريَم: 43]
﴿ياأبت إني قد جاءني من العلم ما لم يأتك فاتبعني أهدك صراطا﴾ [مَريَم: 43]
| Dr Kamal Omar O my loving father! There has come to me from Al-Ilm that which came not unto you. So follow me, I will guide you to a Balanced Path |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar O my father! Truly, I, there drew near me of the knowledge of what approaches thee not. So follow me and I will guide thee to a path without fault |
| Dr Munir Munshey Oh Father, true knowledge did not come to you, but has come to me. So follow me, I shall lead you along the balanced path |
| Edward Henry Palmer O my sire! verily, to me has come knowledge which has not come to thee; then follow me, and I will guide thee to a level way |
| Farook Malik O my father! I have been given some knowledge which has not come to you, so follow me: I’ll guide you to the Right Way |
| George Sale O my father, verily a degree of knowledge hath been bestowed on me, which hath not been bestowed on thee: Wherefore follow me; I will lead thee into an even way |
| Maududi Father, a knowledge that has not reached you has come to me. So follow me that I may guide you to a Straight Way |
