﴿إِنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَٰكَ بِٱلۡحَقِّ بَشِيرٗا وَنَذِيرٗاۖ وَلَا تُسۡـَٔلُ عَنۡ أَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 119]
﴿إنا أرسلناك بالحق بشيرا ونذيرا ولا تسأل عن أصحاب الجحيم﴾ [البَقَرَة: 119]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily! We have sent you with Al-Haqq as a bearer of good news and as a warner. And you shall not be put to question about the dewellers of the blazing Fire |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, We sent thee with The Truth as a bearer of good tidings and as a warner. And thou wilt not be asked about the Companions of Hellfire |
| Dr Munir Munshey (Oh prophet), We have certainly sent you with the truth; as a bearer of good news, and as a warner. You will not be asked about the inmates of the hellfire |

| Maududi (what greater Sign could there be than that) We have sent you with the knowledge of the Truth and made you a bearer of good tidings and a Warner? Now, you are not responsible and answerable for those who are bent upon going to Hell |
