﴿قُلۡنَا ٱهۡبِطُواْ مِنۡهَا جَمِيعٗاۖ فَإِمَّا يَأۡتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّي هُدٗى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَايَ فَلَا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ ﴾
[البَقَرَة: 38]
﴿قلنا اهبطوا منها جميعا فإما يأتينكم مني هدى فمن تبع هداي فلا﴾ [البَقَرَة: 38]
| Dr Kamal Omar We said: “Get you all shifted from this (orchard), then whenever comes to you guidance from Me, so whoever adopts My Guidance, no apprehensions will disturb them and they will not be down with anxiety |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar We said: Get down altogether from it. And whenever guidance approaches you from Me, then, whoever heeded My guidance, then, there will be neither fear in them nor will they feel remorse |
| Dr Munir Munshey We said, "Get down from the paradise, all of you. (Wait) till the guidance comes to you from Me. Then, whoever follows My guidance shall have no fear. Nor shall he ever grieve |
| Edward Henry Palmer We said, 'Go down therefrom altogether and haply there may come from me a guidance, and whoso follows my guidance, no fear is theirs, nor shall they grieve |

| George Sale We said, get ye all down from hence; hereafter shall there come unto you a direction from me, and whoever shall follow my direction, on them shall no fear come, neither shall they be grieved |
