﴿وَجَعَلۡنَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَوَٰسِيَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِهِمۡ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا فِجَاجٗا سُبُلٗا لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يَهۡتَدُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 31]
﴿وجعلنا في الأرض رواسي أن تميد بهم وجعلنا فيها فجاجا سبلا لعلهم﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 31]
| Dr Kamal Omar And We have placed on the earth firm mountains lest it should shake with them; and We placed therein wide pathways, in order that they may find the route |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And We made firm mountains on the earth so that it should not vibrate with them. And We made in it ravines as ways, so that perhaps they will be truly guided |
| Dr Munir Munshey We pitched mountains firmly on the earth, lest it makes them sway. (Between the mountains) We cut roads and paths, so they may find their way |
| Edward Henry Palmer And we placed on the earth firm mountains lest it should move with them, and He made therein open roads for paths, haply they may be guided |
| Farook Malik And We have planted mountains on earth lest it should tilt to one side with them (the weight of people) and We left between them open passages so that they may find the right direction |
