﴿كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ وَنَبۡلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ فِتۡنَةٗۖ وَإِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ﴾
[الأنبيَاء: 35]
﴿كل نفس ذائقة الموت ونبلوكم بالشر والخير فتنة وإلينا ترجعون﴾ [الأنبيَاء: 35]
| Dr Kamal Omar Every Nafs is one that tastes death. And We test you in evil (conditions) as well as in good (atmosphere) as a trial. And to Us you would be made to return |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Every soul is one that experiences death. And We will try you with the worst and good as a test. And to Us you will be returned |
