﴿أَمۡ يَقُولُونَ بِهِۦ جِنَّةُۢۚ بَلۡ جَآءَهُم بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ لِلۡحَقِّ كَٰرِهُونَ ﴾
[المؤمنُون: 70]
﴿أم يقولون به جنة بل جاءهم بالحق وأكثرهم للحق كارهون﴾ [المؤمنُون: 70]
| Dr Kamal Omar Or say they: “There is fanaticism in him?” Nay, (the Messenger) has approached them with Al-Haqq (‘The Truth’), and the majority amongst them are disinclined ones regarding Al-Haqq |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Or say they: There is madness in him? Nay! He drew near them with The Truth, but most of them are ones who dislike The Truth |
| Dr Munir Munshey Or do they think he is mentally ill? Of course not! He has brought to them the absolute truth, but most of them have an aversion to the truth |
| Edward Henry Palmer Or do they say, 'He is possessed by a ginn?' Nay, he came to them with the truth, and most of them are averse from the truth |
| Farook Malik Or are they really convinced that he is a madman? Nay! In fact he has brought them the Truth and most of them dislike the Truth |
| George Sale Or do they say, he is a madman? Nay, he hath come unto them with the truth; but the greater part of them detest the truth |
| Maududi Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain |
