﴿ٱلزَّانِي لَا يَنكِحُ إِلَّا زَانِيَةً أَوۡ مُشۡرِكَةٗ وَٱلزَّانِيَةُ لَا يَنكِحُهَآ إِلَّا زَانٍ أَوۡ مُشۡرِكٞۚ وَحُرِّمَ ذَٰلِكَ عَلَى ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ ﴾
[النور: 3]
﴿الزاني لا ينكح إلا زانية أو مشركة والزانية لا ينكحها إلا زان﴾ [النور: 3]
| Dr Kamal Omar (O Muslim Community! You will keep a watch that) Az-Zani does not take in wedlock except a Zaniyah or Mushrika, and (as far as Az-Zaniyah is concerned) — no body takes her in wedlock except a Zani or a Mushrik. And such a thing is forbidden to the Believers |
