﴿وَيَدۡرَؤُاْ عَنۡهَا ٱلۡعَذَابَ أَن تَشۡهَدَ أَرۡبَعَ شَهَٰدَٰتِۭ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ لَمِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ ﴾
[النور: 8]

And the expedient which would avert her -the wife's- punishment is that she binds herself by an oath solemnly declared four times in attestation of the falsity of his - her husband's - statement

ترجمة: ويدرأ عنها العذاب أن تشهد أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الكاذبين, باللغة الإنجليزية تفسير

﴿ويدرأ عنها العذاب أن تشهد أربع شهادات بالله إنه لمن الكاذبين﴾ [النور: 8]
