﴿وَٱلَّذِينَ إِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمۡ لَمۡ يَخِرُّواْ عَلَيۡهَا صُمّٗا وَعُمۡيَانٗا ﴾
[الفُرقَان: 73]
﴿والذين إذا ذكروا بآيات ربهم لم يخروا عليها صما وعميانا﴾ [الفُرقَان: 73]
| Dr Kamal Omar and those (who) when they are subjected to preaching with the help of Ayaat of their Nourisher-Sustainer, respond not to them as if they are deaf and blind |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar and those who, when they were reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down unwilling to hear and unwilling to see |
| Dr Munir Munshey When reminded of the verses of their Lord, they do not stay inactive (and mute) like the deaf and the blind. (They listen and ponder) |
| Edward Henry Palmer and those who when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord do not fall down thereat deaf and blind |
| Farook Malik Who, when reminded about the revelations of their Lord, do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to them |
| George Sale And who, when they are admonished by the signs of their Lord, fall not down as if they were deaf and blind, but stand up and are attentive thereto |
