﴿وَجَحَدُواْ بِهَا وَٱسۡتَيۡقَنَتۡهَآ أَنفُسُهُمۡ ظُلۡمٗا وَعُلُوّٗاۚ فَٱنظُرۡ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 14]
﴿وجحدوا بها واستيقنتها أنفسهم ظلما وعلوا فانظر كيف كان عاقبة المفسدين﴾ [النَّمل: 14]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they insulted and mocked these (credentials) — although their ownselves did get influenced by these — wrongfully and arrogantly. So see what was the end of the Mufsidun |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And they negated them—although their souls confessed to them—out of injustice and self-exaltation. So look on how had been the Ultimate End of the ones who make corruption |
| Dr Munir Munshey Their hearts were convinced, but they still rejected it unjustly and with arrogance. Now, see what became of the mischief mongers |
| Edward Henry Palmer and they gainsaid them - though their souls made sure of them - unjustly, haughtily; but, behold what was the end of the evildoers |
