﴿فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرۡشُكِۖ قَالَتۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مِن قَبۡلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسۡلِمِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 42]
﴿فلما جاءت قيل أهكذا عرشك قالت كأنه هو وأوتينا العلم من قبلها﴾ [النَّمل: 42]
| Dr Kamal Omar So when she came, it was said (to her): " Is this like your throne?” She said: “As though it is that very one. And Al-Ilm (‘The Knowledge’) has been delivered to us even before this and we have become Muslims.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So when she drew near, it was said: Is thy throne like this? She said: It is as though it had been it. Solomon said: The knowledge was given us before her and we had been ones who submit to the One God |
