﴿وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَت تَّعۡبُدُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتۡ مِن قَوۡمٖ كَٰفِرِينَ ﴾
[النَّمل: 43]
﴿وصدها ما كانت تعبد من دون الله إنها كانت من قوم كافرين﴾ [النَّمل: 43]
| Dr Kamal Omar And (Sulaiman’s effort) stopped her from that which she used to worship besides Allah. Surely, she used to be of a nation of disbelievers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar She was barred from worshipping God by what she had been worshipping other than God for, truly, she had been of a folk, ones who are ungrateful |
