﴿قَالَتۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُمَا يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡجِرۡهُۖ إِنَّ خَيۡرَ مَنِ ٱسۡتَـٔۡجَرۡتَ ٱلۡقَوِيُّ ٱلۡأَمِينُ ﴾
[القَصَص: 26]
﴿قالت إحداهما ياأبت استأجره إن خير من استأجرت القوي الأمين﴾ [القَصَص: 26]
| Dr Kamal Omar One of those two (damsels) said: “O my father! Hire him. Verily, the best whom you hired (if you agree) is strong and trust worthy.” |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar One of the two women said: O my father! Employ him. Truly, best is that thou wouldst employ the strong, the trustworthy |
| Dr Munir Munshey One of the two girls said, "Oh father, hire him! Indeed, the best person to hire is the one who is faithful and firm |
| Edward Henry Palmer Said one of them, 'O my sire! hire him; verily, the best of those whom thou canst hire is the strong and faithful |
| Farook Malik One of the daughters said: "Father, hire this man. The best that one can hire is a man who is strong and trustworthy |

| Maududi One of the two women said: "Father, employ this man in your service. The best whom you might employ is he who is strong and trustworthy |
