﴿۞ فَلَمَّا قَضَىٰ مُوسَى ٱلۡأَجَلَ وَسَارَ بِأَهۡلِهِۦٓ ءَانَسَ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ نَارٗاۖ قَالَ لِأَهۡلِهِ ٱمۡكُثُوٓاْ إِنِّيٓ ءَانَسۡتُ نَارٗا لَّعَلِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم مِّنۡهَا بِخَبَرٍ أَوۡ جَذۡوَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَصۡطَلُونَ ﴾

﴿فلما قضى موسى الأجل وسار بأهله آنس من جانب الطور نارا قال﴾ [القَصَص: 29]
Dr Kamal Omar So when Musa completed the prescribed period and moved with his family, he perceived in the direction of the mount (something like) fire. He said to his family: “Wait, surely I have perceived a fire; may be, I come to you therefrom with a news or a burning brand from the fire, so that you may warm yourselves.” |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Then, when Moses satisfied the term and journeyed with his people, he observed at the edge of the mount a fire. He said to his people: Abide! Truly, I, I observed a fire so that perhaps I will bring you some news from there or burning wood of fire so that perhaps you will warm yourselves |
