﴿وَإِذَا سَمِعُواْ ٱللَّغۡوَ أَعۡرَضُواْ عَنۡهُ وَقَالُواْ لَنَآ أَعۡمَٰلُنَا وَلَكُمۡ أَعۡمَٰلُكُمۡ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَا نَبۡتَغِي ٱلۡجَٰهِلِينَ ﴾
[القَصَص: 55]
﴿وإذا سمعوا اللغو أعرضوا عنه وقالوا لنا أعمالنا ولكم أعمالكم سلام عليكم﴾ [القَصَص: 55]
Dr Kamal Omar And when they listened something Laghw they avoided it and said: “To us our deeds, and to you your deeds. Peace be to you. We seek not (involvement among) the ignorants |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And when they heard idle talk, they turned aside from it and said: To us are our actions and to you are your actions. Peace be to you! We are not looking for the ones who are ignorant |
