﴿فَإِذَا رَكِبُواْ فِي ٱلۡفُلۡكِ دَعَوُاْ ٱللَّهَ مُخۡلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَمَّا نَجَّىٰهُمۡ إِلَى ٱلۡبَرِّ إِذَا هُمۡ يُشۡرِكُونَ ﴾
[العَنكبُوت: 65]
﴿فإذا ركبوا في الفلك دعوا الله مخلصين له الدين فلما نجاهم إلى﴾ [العَنكبُوت: 65]
Dr Kamal Omar And when they embarked on a ship, they invoked Allah as those who keep the Religion absolutely pure in relation to Him but when He provided safe passage to them to the land — instantly they assign partners (to Him) |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And when they embarked on the boats, they called to God, ones who are sincere and devoted in the way of life to Him. Then, when He delivered them to dry land, that is when they ascribed partners with God |
