﴿لَن يَضُرُّوكُمۡ إِلَّآ أَذٗىۖ وَإِن يُقَٰتِلُوكُمۡ يُوَلُّوكُمُ ٱلۡأَدۡبَارَ ثُمَّ لَا يُنصَرُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 111]
﴿لن يضروكم إلا أذى وإن يقاتلوكم يولوكم الأدبار ثم لا ينصرون﴾ [آل عِمران: 111]
| Dr Kamal Omar They will definitely do you no harm, barring an injury; and if they battle against you, they will run away from you on their backs, then they will not receive (any) assistance (against you) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They will never injure you but are an annoyance. And if they fight you, they will turn their backs on you. Again, they will not be helped |
| Dr Munir Munshey Except for a petty (and passing) distress, they will never (be able to) harm you (substantially). If they fight against you, they will turn their backs to you (and flee). They will receive no help |
