﴿فَرِحِينَ بِمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضۡلِهِۦ وَيَسۡتَبۡشِرُونَ بِٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يَلۡحَقُواْ بِهِم مِّنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ أَلَّا خَوۡفٌ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا هُمۡ يَحۡزَنُونَ ﴾
[آل عِمران: 170]
﴿فرحين بما آتاهم الله من فضله ويستبشرون بالذين لم يلحقوا بهم من﴾ [آل عِمران: 170]
Dr Kamal Omar Jubilant of what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty and they harbour glad tidings for those who have not joined them from (those who were) around them — that (there is) no fear on them and they shall not grieve |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar glad for what God gave them of His grace. And rejoice at the good tidings for those who have not yet joined them from behind them. There will be neither fear in them, nor will they feel remorse |
Dr Munir Munshey They are very happy with what Allah has bestowed upon them by His grace. They (also) rejoice for those who remain behind, and have yet to join them. They shall have no fear; nor shall they ever grieve |

George Sale rejoicing for what God of his favour hath granted them; and being glad for those, who coming after them, have not as yet overtaken them; because there shall no fear come on them, neither shall they be grieved |
Maududi rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them out of His bounty, jubilant that neither fear nor grief shall come upon the believers left behind in the world who have not yet joined them |
