﴿بَلِ ٱتَّبَعَ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَهۡوَآءَهُم بِغَيۡرِ عِلۡمٖۖ فَمَن يَهۡدِي مَنۡ أَضَلَّ ٱللَّهُۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ ﴾
[الرُّوم: 29]
﴿بل اتبع الذين ظلموا أهواءهم بغير علم فمن يهدي من أضل الله﴾ [الرُّوم: 29]
| Dr Kamal Omar Nay, those who have transgressed have followed their vain desires without knowledge. Then who guides that whom Allah has allowed to go astray? And (there is) not for them, out of the helpers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Nay! Those who did wrong followed their own desires without knowledge. Then, who will guide whom God caused to go astray? And they will not have ones who help |
| Dr Munir Munshey Rather, the evil doers are following their desires without thinking. Who can guide those Allah has led astray? They will have no supporters (on the Day of Judgment) |
| Edward Henry Palmer Nay, when those who are unjust follow their lusts without knowledge,- and who shall guide him whom God has led astray? and they shall have none to help |
| Farook Malik Nay! The wrongdoers are led by their own desires, without real knowledge. So who can guide those whom Allah leaves astray? They will have no helpers |
| George Sale But those who act unjustly by attributing companions unto God, follow their own lusts, without knowledge: And who shall direct him whom God shall cause to err? They shall have none to help them |
| Maududi But the wrong-doers follow their desires without any knowledge. Who, then, can show the way to him whom Allah lets go astray? Such shall have no helpers |
