﴿وَقَالُوٓاْ أَءِذَا ضَلَلۡنَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ أَءِنَّا لَفِي خَلۡقٖ جَدِيدِۭۚ بَلۡ هُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّهِمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ ﴾
[السَّجدة: 10]
﴿وقالوا أئذا ضللنا في الأرض أئنا لفي خلق جديد بل هم بلقاء﴾ [السَّجدة: 10]
| Dr Kamal Omar And they said: “Whether when we are lost in the earth (after death and disintegration), shall we indeed be in a new creation?” Nay, they, regarding the meeting with their Nourisher-Sustainer are disbelievers |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar They said: When we went astray on the earth will we be in a new creation? Nay! In the meeting with their Lord they are ones who disbelieve |
| Dr Munir Munshey They ask, "(After death), when we disperse and disappear into dust, will we then return in a renewed creation?" What they refuse to believe, in fact, is the meeting with their Lord |

| George Sale And they say, when we shall lie hidden in the earth, shall we be raised thence a new creature? Yea, they deny the meeting of their Lord at the resurrection |
| Maududi They say: "Shall we be created afresh after we have become lost in the earth?" Nay, the fact is that they deny that they will meet their Lord |
