﴿وَلَوۡلَا فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكَ وَرَحۡمَتُهُۥ لَهَمَّت طَّآئِفَةٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُضِلُّوكَ وَمَا يُضِلُّونَ إِلَّآ أَنفُسَهُمۡۖ وَمَا يَضُرُّونَكَ مِن شَيۡءٖۚ وَأَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَٱلۡحِكۡمَةَ وَعَلَّمَكَ مَا لَمۡ تَكُن تَعۡلَمُۚ وَكَانَ فَضۡلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيۡكَ عَظِيمٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 113]
﴿ولولا فضل الله عليك ورحمته لهمت طائفة منهم أن يضلوك وما يضلون﴾ [النِّسَاء: 113]
| Dr Kamal Omar Had not the grace of Allah and His Mercy been upon you, a group of them would have made an intention to mislead you. And (in fact) they do not mislead any one except their own selves; and they shall not (be able to) harm you in any form. And Allah has delivered on you Al-Kitab and Al-Hikmah and He has taught you that which you knew not. And Great is the Grace of Allah unto you |

And they cause none to go astray but themselves and they injure thee not at all. And God caused the Book to descend to thee and wisdom and taught thee what thou art not knowing. | Maududi (O Messenger!) But for Allah´s favour and mercy upon you, a party of them had resolved to mislead you, yet they only misled them selves, and could not have harmed you in any way. Allah revealed to you the Book and Wisdom, and He taught you what you knew not. Great indeed has been Allah´s favour upon you |
