﴿وَمَن يَكۡسِبۡ خَطِيٓـَٔةً أَوۡ إِثۡمٗا ثُمَّ يَرۡمِ بِهِۦ بَرِيٓـٔٗا فَقَدِ ٱحۡتَمَلَ بُهۡتَٰنٗا وَإِثۡمٗا مُّبِينٗا ﴾
[النِّسَاء: 112]
﴿ومن يكسب خطيئة أو إثما ثم يرم به بريئا فقد احتمل بهتانا﴾ [النِّسَاء: 112]
Dr Kamal Omar And whoever earns a wrong or sin, then blames an innocent one, then indeed, he has burdened (himself) with a false charge and a manifest sin |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And whoever earns a transgression or a sin, and, again, accuses an innocent one, surely, laid a burden on himself of false charges that harm another’s reputation and a clear sin |
Dr Munir Munshey Whoever commits a moral offense or a sin, and throws the blame on an innocent person, actually bears (in addition to the sin of lying) the sin of slander _ a flagrant sin |
Edward Henry Palmer And whoso commits a fault or a sin and throws it on the innocent, he hath to bear a calumny and a manifest sin |
