﴿فَلَمَّا رَأَوۡاْ بَأۡسَنَا قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَكَفَرۡنَا بِمَا كُنَّا بِهِۦ مُشۡرِكِينَ ﴾
[غَافِر: 84]
﴿فلما رأوا بأسنا قالوا آمنا بالله وحده وكفرنا بما كنا به مشركين﴾ [غَافِر: 84]
| Dr Kamal Omar So when they watched Our Punishment (about to seize them) they said: “We have Believed in Allah — His Oneness, and we have rejected with what we remained thereby as polytheists |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar So when they saw Our might, they said: We believed in God alone and we were ungrateful in that we had been ones who are polytheists |
