Quran with Tafsir_English translation - Surah Fussilat ayat 33 - فُصِّلَت - Page - Juz 24
﴿وَمَنۡ أَحۡسَنُ قَوۡلٗا مِّمَّن دَعَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 33]
﴿ومن أحسن قولا ممن دعا إلى الله وعمل صالحا وقال إنني من﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 33]
Dr Kamal Omar And who is better in statement than that who invited towards Allah (i.e., towards the Book of Allah) and performed righteous deeds and said: “Surely, I am (one) of the Muslims.” [Please note that associating ourselves to any sect whatsoever amounts to becoming polytheists (mushriks) in the Sight of Allah. All sectarian divisions whether of the past like Jews, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians etc. or of the present like Sunnis, Shias, Ahmadis etc. are refered to by one and the same single word in the holy Scripture |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar And who has a fairer saying than he who called to God and did as one in accord with morality, and said: I am one of the ones who submit to God |
Dr Munir Munshey Nobody´s assertions could be better (and more trustworthy) than the words of a person who invites others towards (the worship of) Allah, acts righteously and says, "Indeed, I am among those who surrender and submit (to Allah) |

Farook Malik Who is better in speech than the one who calls people towards Allah, does good deeds and says: "I am a Muslim |
George Sale Who speaketh better than he who inviteth unto God, and worketh righteousness, and saith, I am a Moslem |
Maududi And who is fairer in speech than he who calls to Allah and acts righteously and says: "I am a Muslim |
