[فُصِّلَت: 40]
﴿إن الذين يلحدون في آياتنا لا يخفون علينا أفمن يلقى في النار﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 40]
Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who behave in crookedness in Ayaatina, they do not hide (their personalities) from Us. Is then, that one who is cast in the Fire better, or that who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? (Continue to) do what you desired. Verily, He is All-Seer of what you do |
Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who blaspheme Our signs are not hidden from Us. Is he who is cast down into the fire better off, or he who approaches as one who is safe on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you willed. Truly, He is Seeing of what you do |
Dr Munir Munshey Those who twist and distort Our verses are, of course, not unknown to Us. So then, who will fare better on the Day of Judgment? The one flung in the hellfire? Or the one who arrives safe and secure (into paradise)? Do what you want. Of course, He watches (and knows) whatever you do |
Edward Henry Palmer Verily, those who are inclined to oppose our signs are not hidden from us. Is he who is cast into the fire better, or he who comes safe on the resurrection day? Do what ye will: verily, He on what ye do doth look |
Farook Malik Those who pervert Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Just consider who is better? The one who is cast into the fire or the one who emerges safe on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you like; surely He is watching all your actions |
George Sale Verily those who impiously wrong our signs, are not concealed from Us. Is he, therefore, better, who shall be cast into hell fire, or he who shall appear secure on the day of resurrection? Work that which ye will: He certainly beholdeth whatever ye do |
Maududi Those who pervert Our Signs are not hidden from Us. Is he who will be cast into the Fire better, or he who comes secure on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you wish; He sees all what you do |
