﴿إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ بِٱلذِّكۡرِ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡۖ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَكِتَٰبٌ عَزِيزٞ ﴾
[فُصِّلَت: 41]
﴿إن الذين كفروا بالذكر لما جاءهم وإنه لكتاب عزيز﴾ [فُصِّلَت: 41]
| Dr Kamal Omar Verily, those who have disbelieved in Az-Zikr (‘The Message’) when it approached them — and verily, it is indeed Kitabun Aziz (‘A Mighty Book’) |
| Dr Laleh Bakhtiar Truly, those who were ungrateful for the Remembrance when it drew near them are not hidden from Us. And, truly, it is a mighty Book |
| Dr Munir Munshey These people have refused to accept the advice, (the Qur´an), when it came to them, (though) it is definitely a mighty book |
| Edward Henry Palmer Verily, those who misbelieve in the reminder when it comes to them - and, verily, it is a glorious Book |
| Farook Malik Those who reject this reminder when it comes to them should know that in fact it is a mighty Book |
| George Sale Verily they who believe not in the admonition of the Koran, after it hath come unto them, shall one day be discovered. It is certainly a book of infinite value |
| Maududi These are the ones who rejected the Good Counsel when it came to them, although it is certainly a Mighty Book |
